We created a shopping bot experience with Facebook on their Messenger platform, so we needed to let people know about it. Multiple campaigns were created for testing, including one utilizing Charlene Yi, a Jud Apatow and Conan favorite. We guided users to the experience by trying to elevate the users' experiences on Instagram and Facebook. They hate to see ads, we all do, so we created content that would entertain, and not be an ad (kinda).
My favorite campaign is Botiquette, with Charlene, who plays with the tension that exists between, well, everyone, and the growing sentience of technology. All of this, and she never says the word “Ford” or a vehicle name; not once.
